First Holy Communion – Congratulations to our 5 children from Rockchapel National School who received their First Holy Communion this weekend. 
An Act of Spiritual Communion - My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
Face Coverings in Churches - The bishops of Ireland are now recommending and encouraging use of face coverings at all Masses and other liturgical celebrations, along with the ongoing maintenance of 2m physical distancing, from Sunday, 30th August 2020.  
GAA Lotto
Rockchapel GAA weekly lotto will resume next Wednesday night, 9th September. Tickets on sale from club members and at Murphy’s Shop. This weeks jackpot is €8,300. 
Rockchapel Parish - Penny Dinner Collection
Sunday, 13th 10.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.
Drop off point is Rockchapel Community Centre. Accepting home baking on the day. All donations will be delivered to Penny Dinners on the day received. Cash donations also accepted and receipt issued for same. Other items accepted gravy granules, peas/beans, soup, tinned rice, jelly, tea/coffee, sugar, salt/pepper, cooking oil, biscuits, tinned fruit, cakes, cereals, fruit/veg juices, dried pasta, toilet rolls, hand wash, bleech. Any queries please contact any member of Rockchapel GAA.
Holy Places Collection, which is usually taken up on Good Friday has been rescheduled for Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September. Please give generously.
