Lorraine Murphy, Breeda O’Callaghan, Eily Mai Hickey & Elaine Hickey.
Frist Friday - Friday next is the first Friday of September. The sick will be visited in their homes during the week. Both masses on Friday will be offered as November masses for the dead.
First Holy Communion - You are asked to pray for the children from Rockchapel school who will receive their First Holy Communion next Saturday. Due to Covid 19 restrictions the ceremony this year will be held in private.
An Act of Spiritual Communion - My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
Face Coverings in Churches - The bishops of Ireland are now recommending and encouraging use of face coverings at all Masses and other liturgical celebrations, along with the ongoing maintenance of 2m physical distancing, from Sunday, 30th August 2020.
Cork Help the Homeless - A few local volunteers are urgently seeking warm clothes and shoes for the Cork homeless. Both men and women clothes are needed. (Men are particularly important as these clothes always run out). Anyone who can be of assistance please contact Catherina on 086-3312958 or get in touch through Meelin GAA social medias. All support is appreciated in these tough times, especially as Winter approaches. Thanking you in advance.

Back to School Prayer - Lord, thank you for the unique gifts of every child as they transition into a new school year. Fill each student with fresh enthusiasm and a heart that is excited to learn and grow. Cover them with your enduring love, give them confidence and grace, and equip them with the ability to persevere through trials. Bless their teachers with wisdom, understanding, and a heart to serve, as they embark on the journey together. Amen.
