First Friday

Next Friday is the first Friday of September.  The sick of the parish will be visited in their homes at the usual times.  The Thursday morning mass in Rockchapel and the Wednesday morning mass in Meelin will be offered as November masses for the Holy Souls.

 

Autumn Stations

Those wishing to have the stations in their homes are asked to contact Fr. Stritch as soon as possible please.

 

Irish Wheelchair Association wishes to thank you sincerely for your generous contributions to their recent church gate collection.  The amount collected in the Parish of Rockchapel and Meelin was €995 which was a wonderful response and for which they are most grateful.  This money enables the association to continue to provide and extend its many services to people with physical disabilities in our country.  The association is most thankful to those who stood for the collections.

 

GAA 

Lotto - Winning numbers were 2, 3, 10, 19.  No jackpot winner.  Next week’s jackpot is €10,000.  Lucky dip winners of €25:  Tim M. Collins; Tade Lane; Pat O’Callghan.  Seller’s Prize: Murphy’s Bar.

 

Post Office Night of Appreciation

A night in appreciation for the service given by Rockchapel Post Office will be held in Rockchapel Community Centre on Friday night, 21st September at 8.30 p.m.  You attendance will be greatly appreciated. 

 

Catholic Grandparents Association

Annual National Grandparents Pilgrimage September 9th 2018, Knock Shrine 2.30pm. Everybody welcome to honour & thank Grandparents alive & dead for all they have done for us down through the ages.

 

Glash Community Centre
