First Friday – Friday next is the First Friday.  The sick will be visited in their homes.  Wednesday mass in Meelin and Thursday 10th May, mass in Rockchapel will be offered as November masses for the dead. 


Parish Pastoral Council - next meeting on Wednesday next, at 8.30 p.m. in Meelin Hall.  All members requested to attend.

Rockchapel 5K and 3K

Rockchapel Parents Association are holding a 5K and 3K run/walk this Sunday morning, 29th April at 12.00 Noon.  Registration from 11.15 a.m. in the Community Centre.  Please support and come out and have some fun!


Rockchapel Development Association - are planning a clean-up of the approach roads to the village on Monday evening April 30th weather permitting.  We have bags etc. provided.  Everyone meeting in the Community Centre at 7.00 p.m.


St. Joseph’s Foundation – Spring Fair in aid of St. Joseph’s Foundation, Charleville take place this Sunday, 29th April at baker’s Road Charleville.  Commencing at 1.30 p.m.  Great family day out assured.  Your support would be much appreciated. 


Lough Derg 2018: Season opens for One Day Retreats on Saturday 5th May.

Retreats continue on May 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 15, 20, 22, 26, 27 & 28.

The Cork Association for Autism is having its bi annual Flag Day next Thursday May 3rd. They are looking for volunteers that would be so kind as to give up their time for a couple of hours on the day. The Flag Day  will be taking part in the following locations in North and East Cork.
