Frist Friday

Friday next is the first Friday.  The sick of the parish will be visited in their homes at the usual times.  Friday morning mass in Rockchapel and Saturday morning mass in Meelin will be offered as November masses for the dead. 

 

Feast of the Presentation of the Lord takes place next Friday, 2nd February.  Candles for home and altar use will be blessed before both masses next Friday. 

 

Saturday next is the Feast of St. Blaise. The blessing of the Throats will take  place after both masses next Saturday.

St. Peter’s Juvenile Ladies GAA Club AGM

The St.Peter’s Juvenile Ladies GAA club will hold its AGM on Tuesday night, 30th January at 8.30 p.m.  in Rockchapel Community Centre.  All parents asked to attend. 

 

Anam Cara

The organisation that supports bereaved parents is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Wednesday 7th February at 7.30 p.m.  in the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs, Tivoli, Cork.  This is a free event and opens to all bereaved parents.  As Anam Cara will need to confirm numbers for teas, Coffee, etc., please RSVP to info@anamcara.ie before Tuesday 6th February or call the information line on 085 2888888.
