Exam Mass -The annual exam mass will take place in Rockchapel Church on Monday 27th May, at 8.00 p.m. All are welcome. Junior and Leaving Cert pupils and their families are especially invited to attend.
Parish Pastoral Council
New RecruitsRockchapel-Meelin Parish Pastoral Council has been in existence for 4 years and is seeking new recruits. If you would like to become a member or wish to nominate somebody, please give names to Fr. Stritch or to any member of the Parish Pastoral Council.
Council of Priests – the Council of Priests of the Diocese of Cloyne send a letter to each parish earlier in the year, containing practices and guidelines regarding the celebration of Sunday Masses and Masses for holy days of obligations. There are copies of this letter available in the porch. Please take one and if you have any opinions on the letter, they can be shared with Fr. Stritch or any member of the PPC. An opinion box is also available in the church.

Cork Ecumenical Bible Week extends a warm welcome to everyone to join them on Sun 26 (Sacred Heart Hall, Western Road with Dr Jessie Rogers) at 7.30 each evening.  Donations welcome.  
Photography Competition - St. Colman’s Cathedral is celebrating it’s Centenary. One of the events planned is a photography competition to mark the Centenary celebration. This is open to all amateurs and hobbyists. Details on cloynediocese.ie

Over 60s Talent Competition
The Final of the Over 60’s Talent Competition will take place at the Cork City
Hall on Saturday 16th June at 8.00pm. This is the 43rd year of the event. Special Guests who will be performing on the night are Seán Ó Sé and the
2018 Over 60’s Winner Donal O’Connell. Tickets are €16.00 euro each from Pro Musica, Oliver Plunkett Street, Blackpool Shopping Centre & Ryan’s Supervalu Glanmire.
