Parish Pastoral Council
New RecruitsRockchapel-Meelin Parish Pastoral Council has been in existence for 4 years and is seeking new recruits. If you would like to become a member or wish to nominate somebody, please give names to Fr. Stritch or to any member of the Parish Pastoral Council.
Council of Priests – the Council of Priests of the Diocese of Cloyne send a letter to each parish earlier in the year, containing practices and guidelines regarding the celebration of Sunday Masses and Masses for holy days of obligations. There are copies of this letter available in the porch. Please take one and if you have any opinions on the letter, they can be shared with Fr. Stritch or any member of the PPC. An opinion box is also available in the church.

U12 Football Final - St. Peter’s Vs Sliabh Luachra Gaels (Ballydesmond & Kiskeam) will take place on Monday night, May 20th at Newmarket at 7.30 p.m. Best of Boys.
Killeagh Choir 'THE VOICES' will perform Sacred Choral Work 'Dancing Day' by Rutter with Guest Harpist Anne-Marie Lapin Labordorziere in The Church of St. John The Baptist, Killeagh, on Sunday Evening, May 26th, 8 PM Sharp. Performance will also include 19/20th choral works.
Cork Ecumenical Bible Week extends a warm welcome to everyone to join them on Tues 21 May(Sacred Hearts Church , Monkstown with Rev Elaine Murray), Wed 22P (St Joseph's Glanmire with Fr Ben Hegarty OP), Thurs 23 ( Old Schoolhouse, St Michael's, Blackrock with Dr Richard Scriven) and Sun 26 (Sacred Heart Hall, Western Road with Dr Jessie Rogers) at 7.30 each evening.  Donations welcome.  
Photography Competition - St. Colman’s Cathedral is celebrating it’s Centenary. One of the events planned is a photography competition to mark the Centenary celebration. This is open to all amateurs and hobbyists. Details on cloynediocese.ie
