Remembrance Masses

A Remembrance Mass for those who died in the past year will be held in Rockchapel Church on Friday November 30th at 8.00 p.m. and in Meelin Church on Thursday, November 29th at 8.00 p.m. During mass a family member will be invited to light a memorial candle.  If a member of your family died outside the parish and you would like them included, please contact Fr. Stritch. 


Rockchapel Development Association

The Rockchapel Development Association calender will be on sale in teh Village and from Committee Memebers from early December onwards.  All funds raised will go towards Community Enhancement.  Please Support.

The 1916 Rockchapel Commeration

The 1916 Rockchapel Commeration committee want to thank everyone who participated and sponsored the occasion.  A DVD of the Rockchapel 1916 celebrations is now available.  Anybody interested in ordering a copy, please contact Donal Murphy on 086-3499813 or Murphy’s shop before the 8th December


Camp Creideamh will run a 1-day catechism study session for teenagers (age 12 to 18) on Saturday 1st Dec, 10am to 5.30pm. Venue: Edmund Rice Centre, Middleton. Topics covered will included the Catholic understanding of human sexuality, God’s design for relationships and marriage. Please contact Fr Eamon Roche to book a place 086 9972539.


All-Night Vigil at Knock Shrine December 7th – 8th 2018: The annual All-Night Vigil will take place at Knock Shrine on Thursday 7th - Friday 8th December. Information on organised coaches travelling to the vigil can be found at www.knockshrine.ie


Advent Day Retreat with Deirdre Ní Chinnéide ‘Listening for the Light’ day retreat will take place Saturday 24 November from 10am-4pm in the Prayer Centre, Knock Shrine.
