Post Office Night of Appreciation

A night in appreciation for the service given by Rockchapel Post Office will be held in Rockchapel Community Centre on Friday night next, 21st September at 8.30 p.m.  You attendance will be greatly appreciated. 

 

Community Centre

An important Community Centre meeting will be held next Tuesday night, 18th September at 8.30 p.m. in the Community Centre.  All members please attend.  New members very welcome. 

 

Fashion Show

Rockchapel Parents Association will hold their annual fashion show on Friday night 5th October in Rockchapel Community Centre.  Tickets now on sale in the local shop or from the parents of Rockchapel National School. Your support would be greatly appreciated. 

 

Twomey Family Remorial

The Twomey Family Remorial committee presented the cheques from 2018 activities on Friday evening last.  They raised €21,060 which is truly amazing.  Enormous and heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped in any way and supported the weekend. 

 

Citizens Information Service (CIS) is opening in Kanturk on Thursday 27th September from 10.000 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.  the Service will be available weekly on Thursdays at the Temperance Hall, Strand Street and they look forward to assisting you with any queries you may have in regard to your rights and entitlements.  CIS can be contacted on 0761 07 8000.

 

Hurling for Hospice on Saturday 22nd September, the parents of St. Mark’s Juvenile Club are holding a Charity Hurling Morning in conjunction with Ireland’s biggest coffee morning for hospice, at Meelin GAA ground from 10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.  St. Mark’s U8 to U14 teams will be up against some of North Corks finest clubs.  Your support would be greatly appreciated for this worthy cause so why not come out and have a coffee and enjoy the hurling.  All proceeds going to Marymount Hospice, Cork.
