Rockchapel Community Centre
Rockchapel Community Centre will hold a meeting on Tuesday night, 17th September at 8.30 p.m.  All members are requested to attend.  New members welcome. 
Mary Immaculate College Alumni Reunion – 5th October
Mary Immaculate College (MIC), Limerick is inviting its past students back to the College on Saturday 5 October for the annual Alumni Reunion. This year the College will celebrate those who graduated in 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014.
Taking place at MIC (South Circular Road, Limerick) from 2.30pm to 5.00pm, the Alumni Reunion is the College largest event for graduates and a great opportunity to reminisce with former classmates and network with other Alumni.
If you wish to attend the event, please email Alumni@mic.ul.ie to book your place. Please provide your name, programme from which you graduated from and the year in which you graduated.
National Culture night - Bruach Na Carraige will hold a night of songs from their archieves on Friday next, 20th September starting at 8.30 p.m. including films of some of Irelands leading singers including Johnny Cronin, West Cork, Lena O’Shea, Angelia Casey from Cork, Peggy Lynch, Aghina, Donal Whelan, Waterford, Phill Berry, Wexford, Frank Bryson Dublin, Christy Cronin Kerry and many more. This was filmed in 1979 and will be shown in our new big screen. Admission is free.
The Diocese of Cloyne is committed to best practice in Safeguarding children and Vulnerable Persons.  This work is overseen by the Diocesan Safeguarding Committee. As part of the 3 year Safeguarding Plan, a Conference on Safeguarding will take place on Saturday 5th October in Blarney Golf Conference complex. The meeting will be from 1.30 to 5pm (Registration at 1.30pm commencing at 1.45pm) with updates from Safeguarding in the Church.  Presentations from TUSLA and the Gardaí will also be given. Parish Safeguarding Representatives, Parish Safeguarding Committees, Clergy, and people working with children and vulnerable persons are invited to attend. If you wish to attend please email safeguardingchildrenoffice@cloynediocese.ie .  This conference will also be part of one's requirement for ongoing training.
