Family Focus Week at Knock Shrine – 16th – 21st July

From Monday, July 16th to Saturday July 21st there will be a special week focusing on the family held at Knock Shrine.  It will include four events each day.  The morning and evening workshops at 12 noon and 8.30 p.m. will explore the message of Pope Francis to families, as we prepare to celebrate his visit to us in August.  Prayer times will include Mass at 3.00 p.m. and Holy Hour at 7.00 p.m. the blessing of young children will take place on Saturday morning July 21st at 12 noon.  Further details are available from www.knockshrine.ie/familycentre. Jesuit Week / Week of Ignatian Spirituality 24st-31st July

‘Your Life, Your Story, Your Pathway to God’
Facilitated by Eddie Cosgrove SJ, Terry Howard SJ and Dermot Mansfield SJ
There will be two 20-minute sessions daily at 11.05am and 7.05pm and also a preached retreat each day in the Prayer Guidance Centre and Mass at 3pm in the Basilica. Cork Association for Autism - 40th Anniversary Garden Party. 

The Cork Association for Autism will open their extensive Greenville gardens and grounds to the public on Saturday July 21st  from 10am-5pm. Visitors are invited to come along and explore the sensory gardens, woodland trails and all that Greenville has to offer. Guided tours and light refreshments will be available throughout the day. Additionally, plants and pottery that have been both cultivated and handcrafted at the service campus will be available for sale. This is a family friendly event and guests are invited to bring along a picnic and soak up the sun in the haven of oasis Greenville is. Its also the perfect day out for any gardening or horticultural enthusiasts. Entry fee is €5 p/p with children under 12 going FREE.
