Lent - Fourth week of Lent – Fasting, praying and almsgiving are at the heart of the forty days of Lent. During this 4th week of Lent, we are asked to fast from excessive screen time, pray the Rosary as a family ( maybe begin with a decade each day) and to give up complaining and take up gratitude.

St. Joseph - Last year, 2020, was the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Saint Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church. To mark the occasion, Pope Francis proclaimed a “Year of Saint Joseph” from December 8th 2020, to December 8th, 2021. St. Joseph's church, Meelin, is dedicated to this wonderful saint who was foster-father to Jesus, husband of Mary, and the powerful protector of the Holy Family.
