The Annual Collection for Education of students for the Priesthood and Permanent Deacons will take place next weekend September, 19th & 20th. This year the Diocese of Cloyne has 3 students preparing for the priesthood. The diocese continues to promote and support our permanent diaconate programme. The cost of educating a student for one year is €25,000. The promotion of vocations to the priesthood and religious life must always be a priority for the whole Church. We must ensure that no man who is called to the diocesan priesthood is prevented from going forward due to the lack of funds. Please give generously.

An Act of Spiritual Communion - My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
