Legion of Mary - The annual sale of work will take place in the Community Centre on Saturday night, November 19th after mass.

Rockchapel Community Centre will hold a meeting on Tuesday night, at 9.00 p.m.

Duhallow Cup Final – Rockchapel Vs Kiskeam will take place on Wednesday night in Ballydesmond at 8.00 p.m.

Scrap Metal Weekend - Rockchapel GAA are hold a Scrap Metal collection weekend, weekend of the 10th, 11th/12th November. Collection point is the GAA grounds, which will be open from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Thursday 10th and Friday 11th November and from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Saturday. If unable to deliver to the pitch, scrap can be arranged to be collected by contacting any member of the GAA.

IRD is hosting an information evening on “Dementia and Stroke – Recognising the Risk Factors, Symptoms and Support Services Available”, at the James O’Keeffe institute, Newmarket on Tuesday, 15th November at 7.30 p.m. Guest Speakers: Siobhan Ryan, Health Promotion Nurse, Irish Heart Foundation and Amy Murphy, Mallow Day Care Centre, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Hands of Duhallow Christmas Craft/Art Fair – IRD Duhallow’s annual Christmas Craft Fair is the only show of its kind in Duhallow which innovatively combines local craft, art and food producers, creating an exciting showcase event. 2011 is the year of craft and this year’s 2 day annual Christmas Craft Fair will take place in IRD Duhallow on 26th and 27th November from 12.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Admission is free. A Ritual of Remembrance for November. A Ritual of Remembrance for those who have died will be held in the James O’Keeffe on Monday, 21st November at 8.00 p.m. it will be facilitated by Sr Maureen Cahill. All are welcome. Pre-registration is essential. Please contact Louise on 029-60633
