Trόcaire – Thank you from the Haiti Appeal. 2 years after Haiti’s devastating earthquake, donations from Ireland have brought hope and normality to people’s lives. Irish people responded by donating €7.58m to fund Trόcaire’s emergency operation, half of which came from parish collections around the country. This money has been used to build almost 1,500 homes, sanitation facilities and schools in areas left devastated by the earthquake. Your generosity means that people have roofs over their heads, food for their families, medication for illnesses, and access to education that would otherwise have been unattainable.
