The monthly collection for Diocesan Religious Purposes will be taken up at all masses this weekend.

Ash Wednesday
Wednesday 5th March is Ash Wednesday, day of Fast and abstinence. Ashes will be blessed and distributed at both evening masses on Wednesday.

Frist Friday
Friday next is First Friday. The sick of the parish will be visited in their homes at the usual times. Bothe evening masses will be offered as November masses for the dead.

Spring Stations
Those wishing to have Stations in their house are asked to contact Fr. Stritch as soon as possible please.

Defibrillator
Rockchapel Defibrillator group will hold a meeting on Tuesday night, 4th March in the Community Centre at 8.30 p.m. All members are asked to attend. New members welcome.

Seminar “Steps for Everyday Living”
IRD Duhallow will hold an information seminar entitled “Steps for Everyday Living” on Wednesday 19th March at 7.30 p.m. in the James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket. This event will provide helpful tips for dealing with the stresses and challenges that individuals and families encounter every day and will outline the different supports available. With peer pressure a real issues amongst teenagers, parents and teenagers are dealing with very challenging issues. Guest speakers are Margaret O’Connor, wellness Coach and Personal Development Expert and David Holden, Cork Regional President of St. Vincent de Paul. Admission is free.
