First Friday
Friday next is the Frist Friday. The sick of the parish will be visited in their homes. Thursday morning mass in Rockchapel and Saturday morning mass in Meelin will be offered as November masses for the dead.

Those wishing to have the stations in their homes are asked to contact Fr. Stritch please.
Church Rota
A meeting of those who have volunteered to take part in the rota for the cleaning/hovering of the church will take place on Thursday night next, 31st August at 8.45 p.m. Anyone who can’t make the meeting is asked to contact Fr. Stritch beforehand please. New volunteers also welcome on the night.
Grandparents National Annual Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine is on Sunday September 10th at2.30 p.m. Everyone welcome to honour and tank Grandparents alive and dead for all they have done for us down through the ages. Chief celebrant Archbishop Eamon Martin – Ballina School Choir – Dana singing ‘Our Lady of Knock’.

Boherbue Comprehensive School will re-open for First Year students ONLY from 9am to 4pm on Tuesday, 29th August, 2017.
Second Year, Third Year and Leaving Cert. students ONLY are required to attend on Wednesday, 30th August.
First Year, Transition Year and Fourth Year students ONLY are required to attend Thursday, 31st August.
All classes will attend on Friday, 1st September."
