Yearly tickets for Rockchapel GAA lotto can now be purchased for the new lotto year. The first draw of the new year is taking place on Wednesday night, 4th April. If anyone is interested in purchasing a ticket, they can do so on or before this date, by contacting any member of the GAA

Ducon Cup J.A.F.L. – Rockchapel V Dromtariffe in Rockchapel on this Sunday at
2.15 p.m.

Rockchapel Community Centre Raffle will take place on Easter Sunday after 10.00 a.m. in the Hall. 1st prize €300 with loads more prises also. Tickets are available in both shops or from any Community Centre Committee member. Your support is greatly appreciated.

50th International Eucharistic Congress 2012 – Sunday 17th June, final celebration in Croke Park, Dublin. There are some booking forms left in the Diocese for Sunday 17th June. Cost €10. Diocesan Day at the Eucharistic Congress 13th June, Feast of St. Anthony. Join the Diocese in taking part in the Congress for a day. Various talks, testimonies, catechises, Mass and Eucharistic Procession will take place on this day. Contact Fr. Winkle, 024-92270 or local priest for more information. Clonfert Cemetery Clean-Up A major clean-up of the western side of Clonfert Cemetery will take place on Saturday, 31st March at 9.30am. This section of the graveyard is completely overgrown and badly neglected so they would love to see as many volunteers as possible from Newmarket, Taur, Meelin and surrounding areas. One big effort will make all the difference!

St. Peter’s Ladies and Juvenile Club – would like to thank everyone that supported their church gate collection last weekend. Amount collected was €1,100. Thank You.

IRD Duhallow Literacy Support Workshops for Primary School Children – Is your child experiencing difficulty with reading, spelling or writing? Has your child been diagnosed with a learning difficulty and are you concerned about their progress? IRD Duhallow is running weekly literacy classes in James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket, Classes are open to children aged between 1st and 6th class.
