Mission Sunday

This Sunday is Mission Sunday.  A time of the year when we are asked especially to pray for and support the churches missionary work throughout the world.    The annual collection will be taken up at all masses this weekend to help fund this work.  Please give generously.

Icon of The Holy Family

The icon of the Holy Family was specially commissioned by World Meeting of Families 2018, written by iconographer Mihai Cucu, and assisted by the Redemptoristine Sisters in Drumcondra, as part of their ongoing prayer for families.  The Icon has now started to travel to each diocese in Ireland to encourage reflection and prayer as part of the journey of preparations to WMOF22018.  The icon is accompanied by a petition box, where families can write their intentions and prayers.  The programme for the visit of the Icon to the Diocese of Cloy ne is located on the notice board at the back of the church.


Anam Cara - the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding its next monthly Parent Evening on Wednesday 1st of November from 19:30 to 21:00 in the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs, Tivoli, Cork. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.


The Joy of Love in Marriage - A Marriage Encounter Weekend offers married couples (of all age ranges) private time to  rediscover the joy of their love. Taize Prayer Invitation - There is an invitation for young people to a prayer meeting in UCC with Brother Jean-Marie from the Taize community in France, Sunday 22nd October at 4.30pm.
