A Candle Light Procession to the Grotto followed by rosary will take place on Tuesday evening after the 9.00 p.m. mass.  It is hoped that as many people as possible will participate in this annual event.

St. Peter’s Ladies

St. Peter’s Ladies Footballers will be in action on Monday night,  August 14th in Round 3 of the Championship vs Bride Rovers at 7.30 in Rockchapel.

Catholic Family Festival – Saturday 19^th August and Sunday 20^th.  This 2 day festival is being organised by the Dominicans, and is an official preparatory event for the World Meeting of Families.  For more info and bookings www.knockadooncamp.ie or phone 085 2258783.

Grandparents National Annual Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine is on Sunday September 10^th at2.30 p.m.  Everyone welcome to honour and tank Grandparents alive and dead for all they have done for us down through the ages.  Chief celebrant Archbishop Eamon Martin – Ballina School Choir – Dana singing ‘Our Lady of Knock’.

St. Marks GAA Club Skills week will be held on Monday 14^th to Friday 18^th August, from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.  The Venues are Meelin GAA grounds the 14^th. 15^th and 18^th and Freemount GAA grounds on the 16^th & 17^th.  All children are welcome aged 6.13yrs.  Application forms are available from Pat O’Callaghan on 087-7937980.  You can also come on Monday morning and complete an application form.
