International Eucharistic Congress 2012
The closing mass of the congress takes place in Croke Park on June 17th. Our parish have been allocated 10 tickets for the occasion. Some tickets still available. Anyone interested are asked to contact Fr. Stritch immediately.

Public Meeting in Kanturk on the Hospital and Ambulance Service
Kanturk and District Community Council will be hosting a Public Meeting in the Edel Quinn Hall, Kanturk, on Monday Feb. 13th at 8.00 PM to discuss the future of Kanturk Hospital and the Ambulance Service locally.

Craft Classes have commenced on Monday nights, for 8 weeks, from
8.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m. in Rockchapel Community Centre. Varied crafts will be taught. For more information contact 063-89565 or 086-2616308.
A Reminiscence Workshop for anyone 60+, will take place on Monday,
13th February at 2.00 p.m. in Bruach Na Carraige, Rockchapel. This fun filled evening will involve people discussing memories from the past and changes which have taken place, e.g. school days, working life etc. Please bring an old photograph or old artefact (e.g. old box iron, item of clothing, etc.) which you are willing to share a memory about. Everyone is welcome.
Mobile Cardiac Screening – HEARTAID provides a doctor led screening service that can help pick up cardiac abnormalities that can cause Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS). This screening will take place in Mountcollins Community Hall, on Saturday, 25th February. If interested, contact Denis Dillane, before this date on 087-7767646.
‘Step by Step’ Pre-school, Rockchapel are now taking names for September 2012 for the FREE pre-school year. Children from 3 years who would like to attend for 1-5 days are also catered for. For more information contact Kate 086-2467587 or Eileen 029-69953 or call into them at Bruach Na Carraige.

IRD – Understanding eating dis-orders Information Evening. IRD Duhallow will hold an information session with Bodywhys Youth Development Officer, Fiona Flynn, on Monday, 20th February at 7.30 p.m. in James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket. Fiona will give a talk on understanding eating disorders. Entrance is free. Open to all. See notice board for more details.
