IFC – Rockchapel V Mayfield, in the Intermediate Football Championship First round on this Sunday, 11th May in Castlemagner at 3.30 p.m.

IRD Important Public Meeting
An important Public meeting will take place in the James O’Keeffe Institute Newmarket on Monday night, 12th May at 7.30 p.m., to discuss the Government’s proposals for the transfer of local action groups to the county mangers. These proposals could result in IRD Duhallow ceasing to exist at the end of this year. A free bus will leave Rockchapel Community Centre at 7.00 p.m. Support would be greatly appreciated.

Windmill Meeting
A public meeting will be held on Thursday night at 8.30 p.m. in Rockchapel Community Centre to discuss the following:
1. Status of projects to be sponsored by RES funding, i.e. the playground and the river walk.
2. Proposed projects to be sponsored by Bord Gais Energy.
Everyone welcome to attend.

Sharing the Joy of the Gospel – A Series of Reflections on the Teaching of Pope Francis
WEEK 2: “The Challenges and Joys of Communal Commitment”
The second evening of reflection takes place from 8-9pm Kanturk: Linn Górm (Sheltered Housing Community Hall; Off Strand St. & behind Super Value car park) on Thursday May 15th
The reflections will be for one hour with time afterwards for refreshments and a chat.
